10/01/09 - Well what a year for the DC! 2008 saw the release of our debut album, culminating in a top ten placing in planet sounds best albums of the year. 2009 will see more shows, hopefully somebody will let us play up North, with a 2nd album earmarked for September......

24/10/08 - Our new single 'She's Like an Angel' is out. It can be ordered from itunes or purchased in physical form from our live shows. B-sides are a new Banjo'd up version of 'Michael' and a brand new song cut from the album sessions, 'First Name Terms'.

09/10/08 - After an exciting evening playing the magnificent KOKO the Dawn Chorus will be embarking on a half term mini tour of the south. Check the gigs page for more details.

22/09/08 - The forthcoming single from The Dawn Chorus has received an excellent 9/10 review from John Earls of Teletext Planet Sound.

15/07/08 - The Dawn Chorus had a great time supporting TSDOLE at the Freebutt in Brighton last night, enjoy positive reviews from Whisperin and Hollerin and look forward to playing the Mag awards on Saturday. x

18/06/08 - The Dawn Chorus album 'The Big Adventure' has received a great 8 out of 10 review in the July edition of Rock Sound.

16/06/08 - The show at the Wilmington Arms on the 19th June in London has been cancelled. Apologies to anyone who was planning to see The Dawn Chorus. We will be appearing at the Slaughtered Lamb in Farringdon, on the 26/06/08.
